About the Film

A spooky comedy short film about a ride share service for monsters!
It was a dark and stormy night. The wind howled and the thunder rolled.
Sarah ordered an uber, but instead she got something she did not expect.
Her weird night is just another Tuesday for her BOO'ber driver! MUAHAHAHAA!
BEWARE YOUR RIDE SHARE!
Director's Statement
When I first read the script for Ride Scare I instantly fell in love with it! I knew that it would be a lot of fun, but it would take a lot of dedication and hard work to do justice to Rick's script; I also knew that I was up to the challenge!
I was eager to try some new things with this film that I had not done before, such as car interiors with projection! I knew right away that was exactly the kind of cheese the film needed, and I was excited to experiment with that for the first time!
This film is a love letter to the classic spooky B-movie, and the cheesy 50's horror. It was made by a scrappy team with nothing but grit, a dark prayer, and some green lights!
Not only did we have SO much fun on set, but I feel like the passion for the material really shows in the performances of the fantastic cast who threw caution to the wind and dove head first into their characters, regardless of how silly they looked or felt in the moment!
I hope that level of passion and dedication is seen on screen, and I hope the audience has as much fun watching this film as we did making it!
